Sales Enablement Tools

Tools

Tools, tools, tools! Few things can maximize the impact of a field team more than having the right ones. Tools can help you communicate better, track your progress, make decisions based on data while on the move, and even book meetings and plan how to connect with your stakeholders!

As we set out to develop SponsorMotion, we realized that it was critical to understand what the sales enablement landscape looks like for Pharma sales: we started researching... and we quickly realized that we couldn't find any good listing of tools specifically thought for field teams operating in the Life Sciences. Well, here's ours!

  1. RxVantage
  2. ClearSight Health
  3. SponsorMotion

RxVantage

RxVantage (https://www.rxvantage.com/) is a platform that connects industry representatives with medical practices. The idea is fairly simple: practices create profiles, state when and where they'd be open to meet representatives, and reps book themselves. It also allows industry representatives to promote webinars, ad boards, and other educational events.

What it means to an industry representative

From a rep's perspective, this means booking more appointments and being less annoying (sorry, that's true!). It also facilitates booking off-site meetings. From a practice's perspective, it means controlling one's time (declaring when and where one's open to meetings) and pulling in reps selectively to discuss specific topics.

Why we like it

Because it's a win-win. In a world where physicians are more and more  under pressure for their time and where educational requirements are increasingly onerous, the matchmaking and meeting scheduling capabilities of RxVantage are really beneficial.

ClearSight Health

What it is

ClearSight Health (https://clearsighthealth.io/) provides a rich database of physician profiles and activities. They show notifications when new providers come and go, when practices change behaviors (e.g., procedure volume changes), and so on. It also maps physicians' networks to facilitate warm intros.

What it means to an industry representative

No more spreadsheets, no more tracking stuff in Excel or on paper: it's much easier to stay on top of what's happening in your territory if you have all this in one place. Also, this can be used on mobile, which is significant when you're on the go.

Why we like it

Because it's a simple dashboard. In spaces with numerous, low-volume providers, having to constantly look for patterns in physicians' behaviors and staying on top of who moves in and out of a territory can be exhausting. ClearSight aims to take care of that.

SponsorMotion

What it is

SponsorMotion (https://www.sponsormotion.com/) is an AI-powered atabase of local conferences, seminars, and CMEs. It contains critical information about what opportunities exist to meet with physicians where they go, either to meet their continuing education. It can be used to create a territory engagement plan that's based on pull (i.e., meeting your customers where they want to meet you) vs. push (i.e., meeting your customers when you want to meet them).

What it means to an industry representative

No more googling to find what's going on, no more trying to figure out where physicians attend courses or CMEs. It's much easier to make your call numbers if you have all this information constantly updated. Oh, and it can be used on mobile, of course.

Why we like it

Well, we built it 😄. Jokes aside, we like that it allows field teams to discover opportunities that they might not have been aware of, and to keep the pulse of where their customers go. In a world where more and more institutions are shutting their doors, this can be the difference between being able to meet an HCP or not.
